Jessica Burns is a dedicated veterinarian with 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Illinois in 2006 and holds an undergraduate degree from Baylor University. With a career that spans both clinical practice and the veterinary industry, Jessica has developed a well-rounded expertise in the field.
For a decade, she successfully owned and operated a veterinary house call practice, where she was known for providing compassionate, personalized care to pets in the comfort of their homes. During this time, she built lasting relationships with clients, creating a foundation of trust and empathy that is the cornerstone of her professional approach. Her ability to offer tailored, at-home care allowed her to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of numerous animals and their families.
In 2023, Jessica transitioned into the veterinary industry, seeking to combine her love for animal care with her strong business acumen. This shift allowed her to expand her influence beyond direct clinical practice, allowing her to contribute in new and innovative ways to the field she is passionate about.
Jessica now resides in Colorado with her husband, two teenagers, and three beloved cats. When she’s not immersed in her professional endeavors, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring Colorado’s stunning outdoors, and hiking the state’s iconic 14ers.
