Executive Director,
US CABU Professional Services

Meg Conlon received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and her DVM from Virginia Tech. She practiced general medicine and surgery as an associate veterinarian in a mixed animal hospital before joining Novartis Animal Health as a Professional Services Veterinarian. While at Novartis, she managed veterinarians, then became the Director of Commercial Training and Development, followed by Executive Director of Commercial Operations. With the acquisition of Novartis by Elanco, she led Commercial Training at Elanco before joining IDEXX in 2016 as the PSV for the Carolinas. A few years later she became a PSV manager, then a PSV Director. At Merck Animal Health she leads multiple veterinary teams including Pharmacovigilance, Veterinary Insights and Medical Affairs, Professional Services Veterinarians, Strategic Accounts Veterinarians, and Universities.

Prior to going to veterinary school, she worked for nearly 15 years in government in the U.S. and Canada, including serving as Communications Director for a United States senator and as an Assistant Media Relations coordinator for the 50th Anniversary of the NATO Summit with the State Department and White House.

When not working Meg enjoys running, biking, travel and reading.  Much of those she does with her husband, David, and daughter Anna Daisy. The rest of the time is spent with her two pugs, Beckham and Wendell, and cat, Fern.

“I love being part of an organization whose purpose is ensuring the extraordinary pets of ordinary people have as many birthdays as possible by bringing efficacious and safe solutions to veterinary teams.”
