Equine Strong
Even as a 4-year-old I remember sitting on the linoleum floor each Saturday waiting for the televised “Racing From Aqueduct” show to start. That’s where my interest started, and it was reinforced on the racetrack. I was lucky to have been around Thoroughbred racing during the “golden era,” getting invaluable lessons about horses (and life) from many successful horsemen, trainers and mentors. Their insights help me support my customers’ success to this day.

Teamwork
It’s been almost 20 years since I joined the Merck Animal Health Equine team, but it feels like yesterday. Now in a consolidated pharma frontier, we are the last of the small team cultures, and we’re just trying to do what’s right. It’s great to have the freedom to be creative, help God’s majestic creatures, and spread some horse sense and humor around while we’re at it.
